JAMIE’S STORY

I am a native of Ithaca, born and raised on a farm in Lansing, where I spent most of my early childhood. In my adolescence, I moved to Fall Creek, where I attended Boynton Middle School and Ithaca High School. Outside of school—in true upstate NY spirit— I devoted my life to ice hockey.

After graduating from Ithaca High School, I attended the University of Vermont for one year before my hometown roots pulled me back to Ithaca. I attended Cornell for the rest of my undergraduate career, where I continued playing club hockey and studying business, hospitality, and communications. In 2007, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science.

Except for two years, during which I worked towards a master’s degree from San Diego State University and spent a summer studying the origins of law in London, I have spent my whole life living in beautiful and progressive Ithaca. Today, I am a single mom living in Northeast Ithaca, raising my amazing daughter. Ithaca is home for me.

I understand the Ithaca market in residential housing, commercial real estate, and investment properties. I own and operate an LLC that manages my personal real estate investment portfolio. My Mother, a Cornellian in the Cornell Athletic Hall of Fame, is a well-known and respected general contractor and developer in the Ithaca area. My late father, also a Cornell graduate, was a general contractor, designer, and developer in the Finger Lakes.  

I grew up on construction sites and have overseen countless renovations. I have an arsenal of construction contacts I trust with my own home. I pride myself on my attention to detail and customer service. Straight out of college, I worked as an events and restaurant manager, running high-end restaurants and training teams on customer-first values. After that I worked as a commercial consultant where I found my true calling in real estate. In residential sales all of my passions and skills came together.

I love working with homeowners and homebuyers. The relationships forged from the service I provide others bring me joy. Because of my deep commitment to my clients, I do not take on more than a handful at a time, and I choose to stay in touch and serve them long after closing.
